South Korean shipping company LS Marine Solution has signed a contract with Tersan Shipyard in Turkey for the construction of a custom-built cable laying vessel, designed by Salt Ship Design.

Following the initial announcement of the order for three Service Operation Vessels (SOVs) for Vattenfall, Louis Dreyfus Armateurs (LDA) confirms the selection of SALT as the naval architect and ZPMC as the shipyard for the construction of these purpose-built vessels.
